Don't read this things into the rules that it doesn't say you should. Awakened trees do not have a Con score. And thier Con modifier is therefore 0(zero).
I didn't ask for your rudeness. And not a single item you posted supports your argument; I'm well aware of the awaken spell description, as you can see from the original post. I think the Con roll being missing is an oversight (or, as Psi said, it should be an oversight). The tree has ceased to be an ordinary tree in the forest, and all other creatures of the plant type have Con scores (yes, I checked), and the tree has gained this type. Indeed, your quote mentions that they lack Wis and Cha scores, which the awakened plant would have, not Con scores.
Don't read into others' posts that other folks do not understand and you do, when other folks do understand.
I think I'll e-mail the errata folks, or the Sage, and just use Psi's quickie calculation for the one-off.
